Matcha

I am going to introduce Matcha (Green tea) today. The custom to drink tea came from China. Tea ceremony is a Japanese cultural activity where people drink Matcha. Tea ceremony is held a special room, and people need to sit up on their heels. It has a lot of manners and they are very complicated. For example, before drinking, you must turn the tea bowl to your left to avoid drinking from the front, which is a decorative part of the tea bowl. They also eat tea cakes at tea ceremony. They look so cute. Honestly, I’ve never tried tea ceremony, so I hope I try it someday. There are a lot of green tea flavor foods, especially desserts in Japan. I rarely drink green tea but I love green tea flavor. I love green tea ice creams, rolls, chocolates, and drinks. I found green tea fondue and I want to try it.

  1. Japanese tea ceremony looks calm and polite. I think the ceremony goes along a very quiet mood. Is it okay to Japanese people talk with others during the ceremony?

  2. I love green tea! It's good for you. Packed with antioxidants. It's interesting to see how strict Japanese culture is.
