Sara Udon

Today’s topic is also Japanese food, Sara Udon. This is one of the most famous dishes in Nagasaki, Japan. The other one is Chanpon, and I like it too. When Chanpon was delivered, a chief made it with a little soup not to spill. This was the start of Sara Udon. Sara Udon is crisp noodles with a lot of toppings, such as fried cabbage, bean sprouts, thinly sliced pork, and shrimp. At first, the noodles are very crispy but it is gradually soft. So, we can enjoy two different textures of noodles. Since Don Quijote sells the noodles, it is easy to cook it. You can eat Sara Udon and Chanpon at Ringer Hut in Waikiki.

  1. Hi, Saki. I have been to Ringer Hut before. I like their Nagasaki Saraudon. Although they don't really have meat inside, but I love the taste of it.
